NOTICE OF POSITION OPENING

 

POSITION:      LICENSED THERAPIST, Part Time (10-20 hrs/wk)

                        Therapy Services Department, Olympia Office

 

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Our Therapy Services Department is growing due to its excellent reputation with both clients and managed care companies. We are seeking a part-time licensed clinician to provide brief, solution-focused therapy primarily to insurance and private pay clients – children, adolescents, families and adults who are dealing with a variety of mental health issues. Work directly with managed care companies and Greater Lakes staff to assure optimal delivery of services and optimal billing for services. Complete clinical and administrative data entry and paperwork in an effective, timely way. Participate in occasional community presentations and marketing efforts. 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  Must be WA State Licensed MSW, MFT, or Mental Health Counselor,  and have a minimum of two years successful experience providing brief, solution-focused therapy to children, adolescents, families and adults, in a managed care environment. Requires strong knowledge of the DSM-IV, ability to diagnose and develop appropriate treatment plans for individuals with a wide variety of mental health issues, using effective cultural competency skills. Requires excellent documentation, computer, time management and organization skills, and a commitment to meeting productivity expectations. Must be able to work at least one evening a week.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:   Prefer candidates already credentialed by major insurance/managed care companies. Prefer licensed MSW or MFT. Ethnic and/or language diversity a plus.

 

STARTING PAY:     Master's-level Licensed Therapists: $21.80 - $26.90/hour to start, based on qualifications.
