We understand how difficult it is to seek help for drug addiction, alcoholism and other substance use disorders. It takes courage to seek help, but once you take that first step, we are here to support you on your journey.
To get started, call 253-581-7020 to make an appointment with one of our compassionate, confidential providers.
You will be scheduled for an initial assessment, which will determine the appropriate level of service for your unique situation.
The levels of service may include:
Here, you will learn skills that will allow you to begin or continue your recovery through eight weeks of outpatient treatment. You will attend 3-hour group sessions three days a week, supplemented with individual counseling sessions. Both day and evening sessions are offered in order to accommodate your work and family life.
Upon completion of Intensive Outpatient treatment, you will receive a referral for follow-up services as needed, which may include continuing at Greater Lakes as an outpatient.
Intensive outpatient may also be useful as a follow-up to inpatient treatment.
At the Outpatient level, you will begin or continue your recovery through 90 minute group sessions one day a week, offered during the day and evenings. In addition, you will receive individual counseling services to address specific issues. The length of treatment is based on your needs. This level of treatment may also be helpful as a “tune up” at any time in your journey to recovery.
If you require a level of service that we cannot provide (such as inpatient treatment or “detox”) you will be referred to the appropriate agency. If you cannot be admitted to another program right away, you can receive interim services at Greater Lakes while you wait. These services may include group and/or individual sessions.
Our services are:
- Confidential and compassionate
- Tailored to meet your needs:
If a group setting is not right for you, you may be assigned to individual counseling only. If you need more or less than eight weeks, that can be arranged. Our treatment model is based on proven effectiveness, and follows the American Society of Addiction Medicine placement criteria, but we also honor your individual wishes and needs.
- Led by highly-qualified, experienced staff with a thorough understanding of Substance Use Disorders
- Evidence-based and effective
