Mental Health Services for Adults

There is hope! Without treatment, mental illness can cause serious problems in your life, and the lives of your loved ones. But you can get better. You can recover from mental illness, achieve your hopes and dreams, and live your life to its full potential. And you don’t have to do it alone. We are here to support you, every step of the way. At Greater Lakes, we can help you manage your symptoms and learn skills to begin your recovery. Together, you and your counselor will find the best path for you. It may be individual therapy, group therapy, case management, peer support, education about your diagnoses, medication when appropriate, or any combination of approaches.

No Cost to You: We provide services to Pierce County residents who have Medicaid coverage. If you do not currently have Medicaid insurance, we can help you obtain or re-establish benefits.

Our providers include Certified Peer Counselors, Counselors and Mental Health Technicians, Case Managers, Therapists, Mental Health Professionals, Nurses, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNPs), Chemical Dependency Professionals and Psychiatrists.

Getting started

The first step in your journey toward recovery is to arrange for an initial assessment. Together, we will pair you with a therapist who can help you identify solutions that are best for you. Once you are assigned to a counselor, you will attend regular therapy sessions where you and your therapist will work together, to develop a treatment plan based on your goals.
Don’t wait! 253-581-7020 today, to schedule an assessment. Or, if you prefer, you can simply walk-in to one of our outpatient clinics during business hours – no appointment needed.
